Try these steps

  1. Start with one shape

    Draw a round balloon, a small flower or a present box. Use a thick outline and skip extra details so the idea reads at a glance.

  2. Add one human detail

    Give the object two dots for eyes, a waving line or a tiny party hat. One expressive detail makes the drawing feel made for the recipient.

  3. Place the message beside it

    Leave a clear area for your words. Try a short greeting such as Thank you, Happy birthday or You made my day, then add two small sparkles.
